NEW YORK: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met Kuwait’s Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah on the sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The prime minister conveyed warm greetings to the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong and brotherly relations with Kuwait.
The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties and discussed ways to further expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Shehbaz underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with Kuwait and highlighted significant potential for greater cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reiterated their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
