ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday commended Pakistan’s security forces for their successful operation in Spinwam, North Waziristan, which resulted in the killing of four terrorists linked to the Fitna al-Khawarij group. Two other militants were injured and arrested during the operation.
In a statement, the PM expressed his pride in the bravery of the security forces, highlighting their role in combatting terrorism in the region. “The entire nation is proud of the courageous soldiers who successfully neutralised the terrorists,” he said.
PM Shehbaz reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism, stating, “We will continue to fight against the specter of terrorism until its complete eradication from the country.”
He also vowed to persist in dismantling the dangerous activities of Fitna al-Khawarij, a group believed to be behind multiple terrorist attacks in the region.
