{"id":3609,"date":"2026-10-16T16:07:57","date_gmt":"2026-10-16T16:07:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/?p=3609"},"modified":"2026-10-16T16:07:57","modified_gmt":"2026-10-16T16:07:57","slug":"ihc-seeks-ptis-response-in-case-concerning-imrans-x-account","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/10\/16\/ihc-seeks-ptis-response-in-case-concerning-imrans-x-account\/","title":{"rendered":"IHC seeks PTI\u2019s response in case concerning Imran\u2019s X account"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: The Isla\u00admabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday granted PTI interim chairman Barris\u00adter Gohar Ali Khan additional time to submit a written response to a petition seeking a ban on party founder Imran Khan\u2019s official X account, adjourning the hearing until Nov 23.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Arbab Muham\u00admad Tahir heard the petition, filed by Ghulam Mur\u00adtaza, while Barrister Gohar appeared in person.<\/p>\n<p>The court observed that Barrister Gohar could have submitted his response in writing.<\/p>\n<p>The PTI leader told the court his party did not cla\u00adim ownership of the X ac\u00ad\u00adc\u00adount in question. However, citing a change in circumstances, he sought additional time to submit a detailed response.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Judicial Magistrate Shaista Kundi issued arrest warrants for the accused who failed to appear in cases registered against the PTI founder and others in connection with the 2014 sit-in.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Khan could not be produced in court as he is currently incarcerated in Adiala jail.
