{"id":3357,"date":"2026-10-03T19:15:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-03T19:15:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/?p=3357"},"modified":"2026-10-03T19:15:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-03T19:15:09","slug":"pti-to-begin-march-from-southern-kp-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/10\/03\/pti-to-begin-march-from-southern-kp-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"PTI to begin march from southern KP tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>PESHAWAR<\/strong>: PTI Khyber Pakh\u00adtun\u00adkhwa Secretary Information Shaukat Yousafzai said on Friday that the party\u2019s protest march would start from the southern districts and be led by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe march on October 4 will take place at any cost,\u201d he said in a statement issued here.<\/p>\n<p>He said the procession from the southern districts would be led by the chief minister, while the procession from Malakand Division would be led by PTI provincial president and MNA Junaid Akbar Khan.<\/p>\n<p>He said processions from the southern districts, Peshawar, Malakand and Hazara would converge in Swabi, adding that preparations for the march had been completed and a shortage of resources would not be a hindrance.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Yousafzai said the success of the government-opposition negotiations would depend on the government\u2019s attitude.<\/p>\n<p>He said the PTI had been demanding access to incarcerated party founder Imran Khan, his transfer to a hospital and early hearings of his cases.<\/p>\n<p>He described PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan as a mature and conciliatory person who would find a way forward.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far, I can call the government-opposition negotiations encouraging,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said both sides had presented their respective positions during Friday\u2019s negotiations, adding, \u201cLet\u2019s see what happens next.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He further said the final destination of the protest march was Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGovernor\u2019s rule is not the solution to the problems; it will make the situation even more serious,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>He said suggestions for imposing governor\u2019s rule or an emergency were being made by non-political people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
