{"id":2952,"date":"2026-09-01T16:38:14","date_gmt":"2026-09-01T16:38:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/?p=2952"},"modified":"2026-09-01T16:38:14","modified_gmt":"2026-09-01T16:38:14","slug":"6-martyred-21-terrorists-killed-in-balochistan-attacks-ispr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/09\/01\/6-martyred-21-terrorists-killed-in-balochistan-attacks-ispr\/","title":{"rendered":"6 martyred, 21 terrorists killed in Balochistan attacks: ISPR"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: Five security personnel, including two officers, and a Customs official were martyred during a \u201ccoordinated attack in an attempt to breach the Customs House\u201d on the night of August 31-September 1 in Balochistan, the military\u2019s media wing said.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement issued on Tuesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that on the night of Aug 31-Sept 1, during multiple incidents in Nokcha, Chagai District, and Ziarat Cross, Pishin District, twenty-one terrorists belonging to Indian-sponsored proxies of\u00a0<em>Fitna al-Hindustan<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Fitna al-Khawarij<\/em>\u00a0were sent to hell due to effective responses by the Security Forces.<\/p>\n<p>The state uses the term\u00a0<em>Fitna-al-Khawarij<\/em>\u00a0for the banned Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and has\u00a0designated\u00a0Balochistan-based groups as\u00a0<em>Fitna-al-Hindustan<\/em>\u00a0to\u00a0highlight India\u2019s alleged role in terrorism and destabilisation across Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the night of Aug 31-Sep 1, terrorists belonging to\u00a0<em>Fitna al- Khawarij<\/em>\u00a0launched a coordinated attack in an attempt to breach the Customs House.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecurity forces responded effectively and, after an intense fire exchange, killed 10 terrorists,\u201d ISPR added.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, fleeing terrorists were also engaged by the security forces, inflicting further casualties, the ISPR said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDuring the exchange of fire, six brave sons of the soil, including two officers and a government official from the Customs Department, made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty and embraced\u00a0<em>shahadat<\/em>,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n<p>The attack on the Customs House was a \u201cmanifestation of the terror-crime nexus, orchestrated to prevent Customs officials from performing their lawful duties and thereby facilitate the continuation of criminal activities in the area\u201d, the ISPR stated.<\/p>\n<p>It added that the sanitisation operations were continuing in the surrounding areas to eliminate any remaining terrorists and ensure the safety and security of the local population as well as the vital national highways.<\/p>\n<p>Separately, on 31 August, terrorists belonging to\u00a0<em>Fitna al-Hindustan<\/em>\u00a0attempted to disrupt the peaceful movement of commuters along N-40 Quetta\u2013Taftan Highway by establishing an illegal checkpoint for extortion, ISPR said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSecurity forces responded immediately and, after an intense fire exchange, 11 terrorists were killed on the spot.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered from the terrorists,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe relentless counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of \u2018<em>Azm-i-Istehkam<\/em>,\u2019 as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan, will continue with full resolve.
