{"id":1191,"date":"2026-06-05T15:41:48","date_gmt":"2026-06-05T15:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/?p=1191"},"modified":"2026-06-05T15:41:49","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T15:41:49","slug":"6-terrorists-killed-in-ibo-in-panjgur-ispr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/06\/05\/6-terrorists-killed-in-ibo-in-panjgur-ispr\/","title":{"rendered":"6 terrorists killed in IBO in Panjgur: ISPR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: Security forces killed six terrorists in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan\u2019s Panjgur district, the military\u2019s media affairs wing said on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that on the night of June 3\/4, security forces conducted an IBO on the reported presence of terrorists belonging to Indian proxy, Fitna al Hindustan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The state has designated Balochistan-based terrorist groups as Fitna al Hindustan to highlight India\u2019s alleged role in terrorism and destabilisation across Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cDuring the conduct of [the] operation, own forces effectively engaged multiple terrorist locations, and after intense fire exchanges, six Indian sponsored terrorists were sent to hell,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWeapons, ammunition, improvised explosive devices and [a] vehicle have also been recovered from the killed Indian-sponsored terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSanitisation operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian-sponsored terrorist found in the area,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It added that a counterterrorism campaign by security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue at full pace to wipe out the menace of foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, President Asif Ali Zardari commended security forces for conducting the successful operation. In a statement, the president said the elimination of the six terrorists marked \u201can important step toward establishing peace\u201d in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He further stated that \u201cFitna al-Hindustan and its facilitators will not succeed in undermining Pakistan\u2019s peace and stability\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid tribute to the security forces for their successful operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a statement, he expressed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to completely eradicating terrorism from the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this week, security forces killed 17 terrorists during IBOs in different districts of Balochistan following the suicide attack on a train in Quetta.
