{"id":1009,"date":"2026-05-19T14:54:12","date_gmt":"2026-05-19T14:54:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/?p=1009"},"modified":"2026-05-19T14:54:14","modified_gmt":"2026-05-19T14:54:14","slug":"dar-reaffirms-commitment-to-stronger-ties-with-saudi-arabia-uae-and-iran","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/diplomag.com.pk\/index.php\/2026\/05\/19\/dar-reaffirms-commitment-to-stronger-ties-with-saudi-arabia-uae-and-iran\/","title":{"rendered":"Dar reaffirms commitment to stronger ties with Saudi Arabia, UAE and Iran"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday said Pakistan attaches high importance to its fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia and is committed to further strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a post on X, the deputy prime minister said he met Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ahmed Farooq, on the sidelines of the Regional Envoys conference in Islamabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He appreciated the strong fraternal Pakistan\u2013Saudi Arabia relations and emphasised the importance of further strengthening the ongoing positive momentum and expanding cooperation across all sectors, including trade, investment, energy, and human resource development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dar also underscored the need for continued engagement with the Pakistani community in the Kingdom, recognising their constructive and positive contribution in further deepening the close bilateral ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dar meets Pakistani ambassador to UAE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>DPM and FM Dar also met with Pakistan\u2019s Ambassador to the UAE, Shafqat Ali Khan, on the sidelines of the Regional Envoys\u2019 Conference in Islamabad on Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a statement issued by MoFA, Dar stressed the need to \u201cfurther expand cooperation\u201d between Pakistan and the UAE across multiple sectors and to strengthen bilateral relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deputy prime minister also highlighted what the Foreign Office described as the \u201cpositive role\u201d played by the Pakistani community in the UAE and directed that further steps be taken to facilitate their welfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also called for promoting stronger people-to-people ties between the two countries, according to the statement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Tuesday said Pakistan attaches high importance to its fraternal relations with Saudi Arabia and is committed to further strengthening cooperation across multiple sectors.
